FBK to audit Russian Authors’ Society

FBK Grant Thornton took up auditing financials and business activities of the Russian Authors’ Society and its subsidiary ZAO Servicing and Operating Company.

As part of audit procedures, the auditor will determine the scope and nature of financial receipts to the Society and its subsidiary as well as the areas of expenditures. Apart from that, the auditor will randomly analyse the cash payments made from the Society’s and its subsidiary’s settlement accounts in the name of its employees and the third parties.

The Society’s General Director, Maxim Dmitriyev, anticipates working out suggestions on financial restructuring and reorganization of the Company based the audit findings.

Russian Non-Governmental Organisation "Russian Authors’ Society" is the largest non-governmental not-for-profit organisation founded in 1993 by the authors’ community to support collective authorship rights management.
