FBK was announced the winner of an open tender of OJSC Rosneft

FBK won a tender to develop six accounting standards for OJSC Rosneft. The open tender was held in 2010, it also includes preparing update of the standard «Accounting expenses associated with exploration and valuation of oil and gas deposits and preparing draft technical documents for deposit development». It is associated with OJSC Rosneft transition from full cost accounting to successful efforts accounting. FBK performed similar assignments for OJSC Rosneft in 2007-2008. OJSC Rosneft is the leader in Russian oil sector and one of the major public oil and gas companies in the world. The core Rosneft activities are exploration and extraction of oil and gas, production of oil and petrochemical products and their distribution. The company is on the list of strategic entities of Russia. Its principal shareholder (75,16% of shares) is OJSC ROSNEFTEGAZ is 100% state-owned.
