Grant Thornton officially registered by the MoF

The Audit Council of the Russian Finance Ministry following the resolution adopted by the Council’s working group unanimously decided to include Grant Thornton on the list of international networks of audit organisations.

According to Sergey Shapiguzov, President of FBK Grant Thornton, the only fully legitimate representative of the Grant Thornton network in Russia, this decision is seen in the firm as landmark and positive.

“We welcome the appreciation of our expertise and professional skills extended by the Council to emphasise our capabilities in the implementation of international assignments and we pride ourselves in being registered in Russia by the Russian Finance Ministry, incidentally, the first national authority that granted registration to Grant Thornton in Russia as an audit network and to FBK as one of its independent member firms,” Sergey Shapiguzov noted.
