Head of FBK Construction and Investment Consulting Practice spoke at IIA Financial Section meeting

On November 30, 2011 the Financial Section of the Russian Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) held a regular meeting during which Dmitry Sbudyshev, Head of FBK Construction and Investment Consulting Practice, delivered a report on certain issues related to investments in construction and reliability of their return. “Currently crediting the construction industry ranks first by share in the credit portfolio of the largest banks of this country. Financing both civil and industrial construction objects implies high risks and difficulties in implementation which include long duration of construction, capital intensity and variety of legal and technical documents”, admitted the expert. According to FBK expert, investors may save time and money if they involve investment and construction consultants responsible for supervisory activities at all construction stages (including examination of permits and licenses, expert evaluation of construction terms stated and quality and scope of construction and erection works).
