Head of FBK Legal Practice Spoke at the Gubkin RSU on Specifics of Arbitration Process

Anna Grishchenkova, heading the FBK Legal Dispute Resolution Practice, took part in the
“Efficient claims at the enterprises” seminar, at the Gubkin RSU of Oil and Gas, for advanced training of the energy complex employees.
Anna Grishchenkova presented her report of
“Arbitration process: practical aspects of work under present-day conditions”, in which she dwelt on several topical matters of interest:
- Impact of changes in the judicial system (transfer of powers of the RF Supreme Court of Arbitration to the RF Supreme Court) on the procedures of decision-making in business disputes, probable consequences for participants in the process;
- Intermediate court reform on the territory of Russia;
- Arbitration procedure in other countries (since the majority of enterprises of Russia’s fuel and energy complex carries out trans-national business, to know the specifics of arbitration procedures in foreign countries is becoming the barest necessity);
- Execution of decisions of foreign courts and international arbitration as well as certain types of court decisions in Russia;
- Execution of decisions of Russian courts in other countries.
According to
Anna Grishchenkova, the specific features of the legal procedure (including the procedure of recognition of decisions, execution of decisions, provisional measures, etc.) both domestically and abroad make a significant impact on the business-subjects performance and financial results.
