How to Protect Consumers in the Age of Smart Devices? FBK’s Response

28.02.2019FBK Grant Thornton’s consultant Oksana Kolbaeva has participated in the round table titled “Consumer Protection in the Age of Smart Devices” arranged by the Eurasian Economic Commission and Rospotrebnadzor and spoken about the way digital technologies can help persons with disabilities to safely consume financial services.
“One of the main problems of our citizens with disabilities is insufficient accessibility of financial services, especially in remote regions. And state-of-the-art digital technologies can help them not only to be active consumers but also to protect their rights properly if they are infringed,” said Oksana Kolbaeva.
The round table dedicated to digital consumer rights has brought together public officials, representatives of NGOs, businessmen, scientists of member states of the Eurasian Economic Union and experts of international organisations.
