«It’s time to act, to work miracles, to make a difference». FBK joins in Global Corporate Social Responsibility Day

FBK, a Grant Thornton International member-firm joined in Global Corporate Social Responsibility Day. 

Lawyers, auditors and consulting experts from more than 130 countries participated in various charity promotion events organized in healthcare, philanthropy, environment protection and education areas. 

Each FBK office held a charity lottery and a sales exhibition to mark the event. The sales exhibition featured the pictures and canvases of the students from the Roslavl special boarding comprehensive school. The company’s employees had an opportunity to buy the works of art and make their contributions to a good cause.

«The funds raised by the FBK staff will be used to financially facilitate the medical treatment of a girl born April 2015 desperately in need of a serious operation. Hopefully, our efforts are not in vain,» Mikhail Lavrukhin said, the Director of  the Center for Humanitarian Programs, a regional non-government organization for disabled people. He noted that the FBK financial support is enjoyed not only by the Center fosterlings but the organization itself.

Mikhail Lavrukhin went on to say, «The FBK experts have helped us to navigate the intricacies of the Russian legislation for more than twenty years. We turn to them for advice and explanations regularly and always get a well-founded detailed feedback. The legal support we receive from FBK cannot be overestimated.»
