The lawyers of FBK Legal successfully defended the client at the Arbitration Court of the International Chamber of Commerce.
In the result of the legal investigation the plaintiff – a major Italian Company – refused from all its claims against the client of FBK Legal.
The client’s interests were represented in court by a highly professional team of FBK Legal specialists:
Alexander Ermolenko, heading the corporate practice, Anna Grishchenkova, head of the dispute resolution practice, and Alexandra Gerasimova, a lawyer.
As
Anna Grishchenkova pointed out, amenably to the contract the hearing of the case was in London, the law of the contract and the law of procedure were British, three arbitrators in the process were British, and the plaintiff was represented by British lawyers.
“Despite these procedural circumstances we have managed to make out our client’s case in an economic dispute. Were the counteragent’s claims satisfied our client would be threatened with bankruptcy; but we, however, succeeded with defending his rights in court,” said
Anna Grishchenkova.
Established in 1923, the International Chamber of Commerce Arbitration Court (МАС ICC) is today one of the most authoritative and effective institutions to resolve business disputes.
