MSU Faculty of Economics Issues Report on Sustainable Development with FBK Assistance

The Faculty of Economics of the Lomonosov Moscow State University celebrated its 80th anniversary in 2021. The faculty was one of the first in Russia to implement sustainable development principles in various areas (the green university concept). The report contains information about the faculty’s activities in 2020 and during the first ten months of 2021 — from local faculty events to external environmental initiatives, including energy saving and landscaping projects. Along with educational and research work, a green university is also engaged in environmentalization of infrastructure, supports student environmental efforts, helps students and graduates to find jobs in environmentally friendly companies. The report was prepared with the assistance of FBK in compliance with the Global Reporting Initiative Standards (GRI Standards). “We were happy to assist our friends and colleagues from the MSU in preparation of their first report on sustainable development, which became the first report in Russia compiled in accordance with the GRI Standards updated in 2021,” said Partner Vladimir Skobarev.
