New “Financial and Accounting Consultations” E-journal Released

The new release covers the changes in the legislation for March 2014 as well as the articles of FBK specialists on the subjects of topical interest.

In particular, the article by Dmitry Paramonov, the FBK Legal leading lawyer, and Ludmila Vasileva, the leading expert, deals with the discussion of the process and specific features of redomiciliation (change of the jurisdiction of permanent residence without the extinction of the company), the growing number of cases of which has been observed in the international economic practice of late.

The reasons for changing the jurisdiction are, as a rule, the desire to change the tax treatment, to minimize the economic risks (a vivid example is the recent bank crisis in Cyprus), the existence of state agreements on avoiding double taxation, EU membership, etc.

The authors analyze in detail the redomiciliation procedures and point out that a substantial part of disadvantages of that process is connected with the application of international tax agreements.

The pilot issue of the “Financial and Accounting Consultations” monthly e-journal was released in September 2009. The edition keeps covering the subjects of business journals of “Your Tax Advocate”, “The New in Accounting” and “Financial and Accounting Consultations” that used to be in paper format.
