September Issue of “Financial and Accounting Consultations” E-Journal is Out

The jounal presents articles written by specialists on the topical issues of financial and tax accounting, advice by FBK and FBK Legal experts, as well as an overview of changes in the legislation.

In the section of “Accounting and Taxation” the article “On Compensation of Employees for the Cost of Air Travel” in which the authors – Larisa Titova, FBK Department of Accounting Process Development and Standardization leading consultant, Ekaterina Dbar, FBK Legal Tax Consulting Practice project leader, and Elena Shcherbacheva, FBK Department of Accounting Process Development and Standardization deputy director, – examine the ways to describe the accounting and tax accounting for business transactions to compensate an employee for the cost of flight (costing as other expenses on the basis of advance statement, reversal of the service delivery revenue and cost formed at booking, or other options).

In the section of “Corporate Lawyer” Dmitry Kudrin and Sergey Navolokov, the lawyers of FBK Legal, analyze the organization of the system of electronic payment for goods bought in online stores located outside the RF territory. As the basis for such settlement system, according to the FBK Legal experts, a foreign investor might consider establishing a specialized company licensed by the Bank of Russia to carry out settlements using electronic money.

Ekaterina Dbar and Maria Lukasevich in the section of “Complex Case. Answers to the Questions” scrutinize the situation when an entity provides services free of charge to the members of their trade union organization (in particular, transportation services, maintenance and repair services, medical services and others).
Can the expenses on such services be included in the costs deductible from the income tax, what will be the attitude of tax authorities and what other extra arguments can be given if the tax inspectorate refuses to allow decreasing the taxable amount?
All these questions have their answers in the article by the FBK experts.
