The educators of the FBK Economic and Law School gave a two-day seminar «Advanced Topics in Accounting and Tax» for the staff of PJSC Gazprom neft in the Omsk region.

The audience was told about the latest and most relevant developments which have their impact on the preparation of reporting and payment of tax. The speakers specifically dwelt on special aspects of the preparation of annual accounting statements, novations associated with accounting for receivables and payables. The speakers also turned a spotlight on such a topical issue as reorganization of legal entities and gave an overview of the latest developments in tax legislation, including the treatment of VAT, corporate income tax and withholding tax.

According to the speaker Anna Smagina, the audience found increased interest in the practical application of the novations in the area of accounting and tax accounting.
