New Appointments at FBK

Alexei Nesterenko has joined the FBK team. He has taken over the leadership of the tax and legal service line as a managing partner. For over 20 years, Alexei has worked in the field of tax policy and taxpayer support in the resolution of disputes and conflicts with tax, customs and other authorities, including litigation support to challenge their decisions. Previously, he worked for EY and LUKOIL.

Alexei has provided services to top foreign and Russian trade, manufacturing, transportation, pharmaceutical and finance companies, as well as financial and credit institutions, and high-tech and telecom companies.

Alexei prepares and teaches tax law courses in Higher School of Economics and Kutafin Moscow State Law University.

Dmitry Knizhentsev, another addition to the FBK team, was also appointed as a partner. He will head the transaction tax structuring department. Dmitry earlier worked for EY and several other audit and consulting firms, where he supported clients during tax audits and challenged their findings, assisted in tax overpayment refunds, transaction and business tax structuring.

He also gave tax law lectures at Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and Kutafin Moscow State Law University.
