On 28 September 2022, FBK’s Partner Vladimir Skobarev spoke at the financial technology section of ECUMENE 2022, a global financial forum.
He pointed out that digitalisation projects often have a direct impact on ESG factors and may be financed through sustainable financial instruments. He also added that it is necessary to strike a balance between growing integration of digitalisation into all areas of our life and development of human capital.
“For digitalisation projects to be considered green, we need to evaluate their impact on the respective sustainability factors,” Vladimir Skobarev says.
ECUMENE Forum has been organised for the second time. Its mission is to incorporate Russia in the global sustainability agenda. The Forum was attended by managers and representatives of government institutions, the Bank of Russia, the Russian Academy of Sciences, big businesses, as well as high-ranking officials of certain foreign countries and leading sustainability experts.
